Lizzy C. Rogers is an nonbinary experimental animator, filmmaker, and visual designer based in Chicago, Illinois. She received her BA in Film and Media Studies from Dartmouth College in 2016, after which she worked at the college’s library as the Jones Media Center Memorial Fellow. In 2019 she graduated with an MA in Experimental Animation from the Royal College of Art. Focused on handmade techniques and digital collage, she combines personal story-telling with intimate imagery to create films that examine memory, feeling, and the nature of truth.

Rogers has had films shown at the White River Film Festival, Indie Grits Film Festival, London Super Shorts Film Festival, This Is England Film Festival, and Kaboom Animation Festival. She has also been featured on “Made Here,” a selection of locally made films by Vermont PBS. She currently teaches animation and design as
an adjunct at Columbia College Chicago and Loyola University.
